We are Chris & Andrew Hammacott weavers working from our croft here in the Outer Hebrides, we live and work amongst our rescue dogs, cats, hens and sheep. Somewhere between the moor and the sea. We weave rugs from our own sheeps fleeces, the sheep are rare and rescue and live in a no-kill flock.

We spin and weave the rugs on wooden floor looms, using organic warp and organic soaps for washing the yarn, Should you wish, you could lay one of our rugs on the moor that surrounds the workshop and in time it would slowly become one again with the earth no chemicals or harsh cleaners, we aspire to 'Touch the earth lightly'.
